vintage shift dress - estate sale
nude dot tights - F21
tan wedges - DSW
I'm hammier than usual today and I'm not sure why. It might be because I bought this dress in April but could only first wear it today. It was this long tunic with open panels and yesterday I learned how to use a sewing machine and sewed them shut. I also hemmed my first dress! It's awesome, I'm addicted now. They turned out pretty well, I must say. I think I'm a natural.
Or maybe I'm hammy because these are my last outfit photos with long hair. I hope tomorrow night I am not looking at them sadly and nostalgically...but my hair is driving me nuts lately so I might as well cut it now, right? It'll grow back, that's what everyone keeps telling me. I'll keep you all posted...
Also don't forget to enter the Rust Belt Threads giveaway. There's still time to enter, but it ends tomorrow night!

Isn't it a joy when the sewing machine is working right and you fix something or create something ? You feel like you can conquer the world.
Wonderful dress and shoes!
