What's your opinion?

Dear readers (since it seems like I am ever-so-gradually having more readers visit my blog),

I hope I can write a TILT entry for tomorrow, but I have been supercrazybusy lately, and after work tomorrow I am going to a concert BUT I felt like posting in case there is some absence on my part.

But mostly I really wanna know what people think about this look.

What is your opinion on opaque tights and open toed shoes?

Peeptoes or full-on sandals, and opaque tights in any color, how do you feel about this style? When does it work? When doesn't it? I've been considering it myself to get more use out of my purchased-too-late summer heels, but have yet to have the opportunity (or nerve). I'm eager to know what you think!

I think it can look okay with peep toes, but not so much fully open-toed sandals.

i don't have any hard and fast rules, but i like, for instance, these (http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=23628703) platforms with some chunk knit tights, or even a more conventional high den tight like the one in your photo.

don't think i would wear tights with open-toed shoes that have any sort of shine or shimmer to them, though. has to be matte. (hmm, i guess i do have rules!)

ps: hope the blouse arrived and fits!

I think if the tights are thick and opaque you get away with wearing open-toed shoes or sandals...as long as they're not espadrilles or have ties that wrap around the leg.

Thanks for your input, ladies! At Fashism (http://www.fashism.com/look/view/1056) I got a few more comments, it seems like there's a likely chance it can look good but it's easy to fuck up. I'll post pictures if I ever decide to try it myself.
