I warned you guys I was gonna be super out of it, but I'm trying! This outfit is from yesterday. Today I looked much frumpier cos I was tired and it was a lot colder! I really, really hate Chicago weather. Whenever it's nice temperature-wise it's either raining or windy or both. Grumble grumble grumble.

I'm still not sure how I feel about these shoes. I think it's the woven stuff on the tops in the front. I feel like nothing really matches them, I guess. Same with this skirt. This is only the second time I've worn it (winter is partly to blame). I think it's cos I need to iron/steam the heck out of it when I wear it. Classy yet low-maintenance...there's gotta be a niche for me somewhere in fashion without me only wearing jersey dresses. Sorry for the rant. I'm exhausted and today has been kind of a bummer. Still waiting to hear anything about our dream apartment. I move in three weeks! Come on, guys...

Art for Art's Sake

I just bought these two lovely pieces from Matou en Peluche and I am so excited to get them! I work at a frame shop, too, so when they come I'm framing them up real nice. I've been wanting them for months now so I know that they will make me happy every time I look at them.

As I mentioned previously, I'm moving into a new apartment at the end of the month. The fun part? Buying new stuff! If I get the apartment my roommate and I are aiming for I'll have a lot more room for cute decor. So, friends, tell me: What are your favourite artists on Etsy? I'm mostly leaning towards illustration, but photography, screenprints, collage and shadowboxes are welcome, too. Suggest away!

New at Branchbound

All of these are pieces added to Branchbound within the past week. The first four is my line of Aithley earrings. I plan to do them in many colours. I have yellow, pale pink, and peach dyed and ready to be made, as well as some red ones I already got for a custom order! I'll be making another pair of those for the shop as well. I'm not sure what to say about this outfit...I feel very meh about these photos. Seymour is cute, though! I guess something about how I'm sorry I've been so bad with the outfit posts, and updating in general. Between seeing my friend Erika before she moves to Mongolia for two years, looking for a new apartment, and planning my trip to New York City the weekend before I move, I gotta say I'm a bit stretched thin! Exciting things on the horizon, though, so I'm loving that.
