Mattel makes Mad Men collector dolls Um, how awesome do they look? As if I need another reason to get back into my Barbies. Also, check out the picture posted in the first comment.

An Open Letter To Pixar begging for a lead female character in one of their films. Oh wait, they will! On their thirteenth film. Oh, and did we mention she's a princess? Yeah, read on.

How To Succeed By Being Completely Unrealistic Interesting food for thought, especially if you are having a quarter-life crisis.

Anja from Clever Nettle on the ModCloth Blog Anja was asked by ModCloth to make paintings of a few of their dresses and they look amazing! Check out her blog, too, for more pictures and an interview.

101 Cookbooks Karen pointed me in the direction of this awesome recipe website. Everything is vegetarian, a lot of it with whole grains and fresh ingredients. I made the mushroom casserole this week. Yum!

Expert Hair Colouring Tips I like to think I am a budding pro at the home dye job thing, but even I learned a few neat tricks from this article.

I am not a Barbie person (I had a Suntan Tuesday Taylor doll--bet you don't know about her!--but did have lots of cool 60s and 70s Barbie clothing hand-me-downs from older cousins), but do think the Mad Men dolls are kind of neat. I wish the Joan doll was a little more va-va-va-voom like she is on the show, though.

And not to be the world's grumpiest person, but I love that I now have another reason to continue my disdain for Pixar. (I admit, I never saw and probably never will see Up, and I'm still mad that the Oscar the delightful, wonderful Fantastic Mr. Fox deserved went to those Pixar people.)

Mushroom casserole?! I'll have to check that one out. I love mushrooms. And casserole.

Fun roundup!

My deal is, I usually like Pixar (though I didn't see Cars)...but they've been gradually losing steam for me. Loved Toy Story, Finding Nemo...Incredibles was a bit forgettable. I can see how Up pulled heartstrings, but I wasn't very interested in it.

The casserole is good but a couple things of note! Either make it knowing it will be a side or DOUBLE the recipe. It made 4 barely-filling meals for one person (me), if I make it again it will either be 3 meals or I will double everything. Regardless, put more than 3 cloves of garlic in it (I'd do 6 next time if I kept the recipe the same)...it's a little bland as-is.
