Blogger (Re-) Meet Up and Other Weekend Adventures

Saturday afternoon Michael and I had the pleasure of having brunch with Rachel of MouseVox Vintage, her boyfriend, and some of their friends at Longman and Eagle. It was a nice leisurely meal full of hearty food and drinks as well as great conversation. It was a joy to see Rachel again, I get along with her very well. She's so sweet and I love that I can talk shop with someone! Unfortunately last time she visited Chicago I was unable to get a photograph of us together, but this time I did!

Afterward Michael and I goofed around with my cat, Seymour. Here are some pictures Michael took (the last is Seymour in front of a drawing I did of him on our chalkboard wall).

He loves me.

Sunday I went with Michael and my 3 best girlfriends to the beach and had a blast. Michael and I got delicious burgers outside for dinner. Here are some cell phone snaps via Mcihael's phone:

We then went home and then enjoyed last night's wonderful episode of Mad Men. I had a great weekend! What did you all do?

What a wonderful necklace! I came here from Starr's blog, following her suggestion that your blog and your haircut were both lovely, and I have to say that's true!

Haha! The Seymour pictures are hilarious. He is so cute. And he looks miserable. How do cats manage to look so miserable when we hold them? :P

Cute blog, by the way! I just found you today.
